Libby Benedict was born and raised in Minnesota.  After high school Libby spent 7 years volunteering around the world, and it was during that time that her passion for people and capturing their beauty was realized. 

In 2006 Libby attended one of the most highly regarded photography schools in the world, Hallmark Institute of Photography, and graduated in June 2007.

Libby's style has been called clean, simple, sophisticated, playful and fun.  She enjoys working with different types of light, and is continually expanding her knowledge of photography.

While Libby is familiar with various aspects of photography, it is her fascination with the world and the diversity of countries, cultures and expressions that makes her stand out.  This passion has brought her to 24 countries and 5 continents.

It is Libby’s dream to use her photography to raise awareness of the social injustice issues of the world, to fight for positive changes for the unheard and forgotten.
